Neighborhood Events
FLAG believes in fostering good neighbor relations to keep Ladd's a safe, healthy, and connected neighborhood.
In the past, FLAG has hosted many events to bring our community together. In addition to organizing volunteer rose deadheading throughout the summer months, FLAG has hosted summer picnics with games, holiday potlucks with caroling and horse-drawn wagon rides, and silent auctions.

No experience necessary. We’ll provide a short demonstration before we get started.
We'll divide into small teams, keeping households together as much as possible. Please bring gloves. If you have them, please also bring a shovel, pruners, a bucket, a broom and a rake.
Rain or shine, the tree planting will happen.
Winter Pruning of Roses
Portland Parks personnel will be cutting back the rose plants in all four rose gardens, to preserve their health and beauty. Exact dates to be determined.
